Debuting in 1952 with it's first Grand Prix, Circuit Zandvoort is the Dutch Centre of the racing world, nestled among the sand dunes of the town that share it's name. It was a permanent fixture on the F1 schedule until 1985, where safety changes could not be funded. After decades of hsoting other competitions, the track saw a successful return in 2021, after an attempt in 2020 was cut short by the COVID-19 pandemic.

How to Get to Circuit Zandvoort
By Air: Amsterdam's main airport Schiphol, is located under 19 miles away of Zandvoort and is closer to the circuit than the city itself.
Other airport options include Rotterdam The Hague, Brussels, Brussels Cherleroi, or Dusseldorf, all located within a few hours from Zandvoort.
By train: Based on Schipol airport, there are no direct trains from the airport to Zandvoort, however you can get an Intercity train to Amsterdam-Centraal or Sloterdijk and transfer directly to Zandvoort aan Zee Train station.
By Car: Travelling by car is a no go, as roads to Zandvoort are completely closed during the race weekend. However, if you don't mind parking a litte further away at a Park and Ride carpark, then the trip to the circuit will take around half an hour via the N200 and A9 motorway.
By Bus: The number 80 bus can be boarded from numerous stops across the city direct to the circuit. This takes about 45 minutes. It connects Haarlem, Zaadvoort, and Amsterdam while bus 385 connects Zandvoort with Leiden and Noordwiik and Zandvoort.
