British Grand Prix 2026 Schedule

The British Grand Prix is set to take place on the 3rd of July with raceday scheduled for the 5th July 2026 for a peak summer race weekend at Silverstone Circuit. This is the oldest event on the Formula 1 calendar, with the first championship race held there in 1950. Over the weekend, fans can expect one practice, sprint qualifying and sprint, then qualifying, ending it all with the main event.

Unique Features: Silverstone uniqueness lies in it's airfield origins, which give it a fast, flowing, and wide layout with high-speed sections like the Maggotts and Becketts complex. It is also known as the birthplace of Formula 1, hosting the very first World Championship Grand Prix in 1950.

Over the decades, the track has undergone numerous upgrades to improve safety and racing quality, including track layout changes in the 1990s and 2010s. Despite changes, it has retained it's reputation as a challenging track and has hosted it's share of memorable moments such as Nigel Mansell's emotional 1987 victory marked by a famous crowd invasion.

Silverstone remains the home of British motorsport, blending modern facilities with a rich racing heritage, and continues to host the British Grand Prix.

Trophy Package - Hamilton Straight A: Experience the event from the fully-covered Hamilton Straight, a grandstand located on the Main Straight with veiws of the Starting Grid, Finish Line, Pit Lane & Team Garages. Includes all of the extra features listed above in the Becketts Trophy packages.

Hospitality Lounge: This is a covered, climate-controlled venue with an outdoor viewing balcony located inside the UTC Building on the National Pits Straight directly after Turn 8, where you will witness drivers reach top speed as they accelerate out of the tricky set of corners. This package includes delicious canapes, lite bites and specially curated lunch dishes, open bar serving beer, wine and soft drinks, appearances from key F1 personnel. How to Get to the Silverstone Circuit

Set in the heart of the United Kingdom, the Silverstone circuit is accessible via a number of transport options.

By Car:

  • Travelling from the North: 60 minutes south of Birmingham with road access easy along the A43 carriageway from the M1 motorway.
  • From the South: 90 minutes north of central London from the M40 motorway and A43 dual carriageway.

By Train:

The closest station, Wolverton, is around 10 miles (16km) away from the circuit. It offers direct train services to London Euston, Birmingham New Street and Northhampton Rail Stations.

In the area and all under 13 miles (20km) away are Banbury, Milton Keynes and Northampton rail stations.

By Bus:

Stagecoach operates local bus services to and from the circuit for our key events. Just turn up on the day and pay the driver. Be prepared for busy services for large events.

By Plane:

The circuit is easily accessible from several international airports, with excellent transport links across the UK.
