Designed by Hermann Tilke, the track is famous for its twilight start and night finish under floodlights, creating a distinctive and dramatic atmosphere. Its layout features 16 turns, long straights and tight corners, providing a challenging and exciting circuit for drivers and teams. In 2021, a series of modifications were made to improve overtaking and increase the overall flow of the race.

By Air: Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH) is the closest airport, located just 11 km from Yas Marina Circuit. From the airport, it’s a short 10-minute drive to the circuit.
By Car: Driving from Abu Dhabi city center to Yas Marina Circuit typically takes around 30 minutes. Parking is available at Yas Mall, with shuttle services transporting spectators to the circuit. Premium parking passes are also available for closer access to the venue.
By Bus: The 190 bus route connects Abu Dhabi’s central bus station to Yas Island, with a journey time of approximately 40 minutes.
By Shuttle: During the Grand Prix weekend, free shuttle services operate within Yas Island, connecting various points to Yas Marina Circuit. The Circuit Circular Shuttle runs every 15 minutes from Thursday to Saturday (9:00 AM to 1:00 AM) and on Sunday (10:30 AM to 1:00 AM), stopping at major grandstands.
