Fulham v Brighton History

Head to head record

Fulham wins - 28

Brighton wins - 23

Draws - 9

Fulham and Brighton first met in 1928, in the old Division Three (South). Over the next 90 years, the fixture moved around the Football League as both clubs rose and fell between divisions. They were Championship rivals as recently as 2016/17. That season, Brighton won both meetings on their way to promotion to the Premier League.

Their first Premier League meeting came in September 2018, a 2-2 draw on the south coast. The return game at Craven Cottage in January 2019 produced a memorable comeback. Glenn Murray scored twice to put Brighton 2-0 up inside 17 minutes. Fulham hit back with four second-half goals to win 4-2. Since that first top-flight meeting, Brighton have beaten Fulham just once in 12 Premier League games.
