The venue can accommodate 90,000 spectators and is equipped for football, boxing, American football, and live music events. Wembley is located in northwest London and is surrounded by shops, restaurants, and hotels, making it a convenient destination for both day visitors and longer stays.
How to Get to Wembley Stadium
By Car: From central London, the drive to Wembley takes approximately 30–45 minutes. Limited event-day parking is available in nearby official car parks, which must be booked in advance.
By Air: The nearest major airport is London Heathrow (LHR), about 22 km away. A journey from the airport to Wembley takes around 30–40 minutes by car or public transport.
By Train/Tube: There are three main stations close to the stadium. Wembley Park Station (Metropolitan and Jubilee lines) is about a 10-minute walk. Wembley Stadium Station is served by Chiltern Railways from London Marylebone. Wembley Central Station (Bakerloo line, Overground, and National Rail) is around 15 minutes on foot.
By Bus: Several London bus routes serve the Wembley area, including the 18, 83, 92, 182, and 224. Journey times vary depending on your starting point. By Shuttle: On major event days, shuttle services may run from selected park-and-ride locations to the stadium, helping ease congestion.
By Taxi/Ride-Sharing: Taxis and ride-sharing services like Uber and Bolt are widely available. A typical journey from central London to Wembley costs around £30–£45 and takes about 30 minutes, depending on traffic.
