About Coldplay

Coldplay are a British alternative rock band that were formed in London in 1996. The band's breakthrough track ‘Yellow’ was released in 2000, topping the UK charts and quickly helping Coldplay become well established within the music world. This song as well as their most successful anthem, the epic ‘Viva La Vida’ have become staples in their setlists. While Coldplay’s early music was rooted in rock and Britpop, the band has gradually transitioned toward a more pop-oriented sound in recent years.

Led by their frontman Chris Martin, Coldplay are known to give it everything on stage. They are often regarded as one of the best bands to experience live due to their theatrical performances and incredible visual spectacles. While Coldplay have always been a band well known for their activism, this has become even more noticeable in recent years due to their sustainability efforts with their Music of the Spheres Tours.

Being a consistent performer over many years Coldplay have established themselves as one of the world's most successful bands. With 7 Grammy Awards, 9 Brit awards, multiple number one singles and many magical performances, it’s not surprising that Coldplay are one of the world's most sought after artists to see live.
