Arsenal v Burnley – Premier League 2025/26

Arsenal vs Burnley is a fixture that reflects a clear historical imbalance, with Arsenal consistently dominating the contest, particularly at the Emirates. As of May 2025, Arsenal have won 57 of the 115 meetings between the sides across all competitions, with Burnley claiming 34 wins and 24 ending in draws. The Gunners' superior technical quality has repeatedly exposed Burnley's compact setup, especially in North London.

Burnley’s only Premier League win at the Emirates came in December 2020 via a Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang own goal. Since then, Arsenal have resumed control in the fixture. Most recently, a 3–1 victory on 11 November 2023 saw Leandro Trossard open the scoring with Arsenal's 1,000th goal at the Emirates. Josh Brownhill briefly equalised for the visitors, but William Saliba and Oleksandr Zinchenko secured the win.

The disparity was even clearer in the reverse fixture on 17 February 2024, where Arsenal thrashed Burnley 5–0 at Turf Moor. Bukayo Saka scored twice, joined on the scoresheet by Martin Ødegaard, Leandro Trossard, and Kai Havertz. The result reinforced Arsenal’s title credentials and highlighted the gulf in class between the two squads.
